Emerson College students, faculty, and staff may use the classroom computer workstations when they are not in use for class instruction. Microsoft Office is installed on all classroom computers for students to write and edit documents and create spreadsheets and presentation graphics (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Other standard software is also installed on these computers.

No Library computer may be used for illegal or unethical activities. See the College's Electronic Information Policy Guidelines for Responsible and Ethical Behavior for more information.

Students who damage a Library computer will be held financially responsible for replacing the computer or parts. No personal software may be installed on any Library computer. Students found changing or deleting software or computer settings (for example, video graphics, Windows desktop, or browser options) may forfeit their Library privileges.

The Library reserves the right to restrict access to these computers.
