WorkshopBelow is our workshop and special event calendar. If you are interested in more learning opportunities, the IT Help Desk has subscriptions available for Element K, an online software teaching tool.

Likewise, the Media Services Center has a dedicated Lynda.com software tutorial workstation, as well as staff available for one-on-one assistance.

The TRF staff also puts on workshops on high-end software and file management. To sign up for a DPL workshop, please view the current schedule posted outside DPL1 on the 8th floor of 180 Tremont Street.

Introduction to Adobe Dreamweaver

Join us for a discussion of the basics of creating your own website.  Attendees will learn to use Adobe Dreamweaver to make a basic webpage.

No previous Dreamweaver experience is necessary, but users will need their ECnet usernames and passwords in order to participate.

This workshop will take place in the ATL (W418). No reservation is required for this event.

Introduction to Adobe Flash

If you would like to make 2D animations or presentations for the web, this is a great place to start.  In this session, we will discuss the basics of Animation with Adobe Flash.

No previous Flash experience is necessary, but users will need their ECnet usernames and passwords in order to participate.

Introduction to Adobe InDesign

If you would like to layout a magazine, a poster, a pamphlet, or even a book, this workshop will help you to get started.  This hands-on session will cover basic print layout and design using Adobe InDesign.

No previous InDesign experience is necessary, but users will need their ECnet usernames and passwords in order to participate.

This workshop will take place in the ATL (W418). No reservation is required for this event.

Introduction to Adobe Photoshop

In this session, the attendee will be introduced to the interface and basic use of Adobe Photoshop.  This is an excellent session for anyone who would like to learn to manipulate pictures using a computer.
