Executive Director:
Jim Lane - jlane@ecla.edu
Jim is both a film scholar and film/video maker with extensive publications and production experience. He has published articles in Wide Angle, Jump Cut, The Journal of Film and Video, and Film History. In spring 2002, he published The Autobiographical Documentary in America through the University of Wisconsin Press. His filmography includes an interesting mix of autobiographical, documentary and experimental films and videos, most of which have been exhibited at major film festivals in the United States and Europe. His autobiographical film, I am not an Anthropologist premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and an experimental work, Lightplay, won several awards at US film festivals. Lane received his Ph.D. in Film and Television Studies from UCLA Department of Film and Television.

Kerri received her B.A. in English/Communications from North Adams State College and her M.A. in Media Arts from Emerson. She was an Associate Producer for Tuk Media Enterprises where she also served as Production Coordinator for the Court TV pilot, “Hollywood Crime Stories.” Kerri moved on to work in production and content distribution with entertainment news website, ReporterTV.com. She was also the Assistant Internship Coordinator at the Emerson LA Center for three and a half years and worked with the UCLA Extension Writers’ Program as Program Representative in Screenwriting, before returning to Emerson in 2005 as the Director of Internships and Student Services.

Alicyn graduated from Emerson College in 2003 with a B.A. in Visual Media Arts. She completed the Los Angeles Program in the Fall of 2002, during which time she served as a Residence Assistant, and was one of the founding members of the Emerson student-produced actor¹s showcase. Her lifelong passion for performing has lead to numerous roles for film, television, radio and video games. In addition to past voiceover work for Vongo, Frasier and Girlfriends she currently voices several characters in the upcoming animated series, “The Mr. Men Show” which is slated to launch on Cartoon Network in January, 2008. In her spare time, she enjoys singing, playing guitar and dancing.

Larry Caldwell - LCaldwell@ecla.edu
Larry received his BA in English from the University of Maine and his MFA in creative writing from Emerson. He has worked as a book editor for Penguin Putnam in New York City and in film development at Seraphim Films in Hollywood. A novelist and screenwriter, he's also been known to dabble in filmmaking, having shot the documentary After Many Days a showcase of Emerson's MFA writers.
