The Department of Journalism

Through undergraduate and graduate programs, the Department of Journalism is committed to educating journalists who can bring intelligence and context to the complex issues facing our diverse world.

Its faculty members are dedicated to molding ethical journalists, capable of developing original and significant stories, and of reporting, synthesizing, analyzing and writing the news in ways that increase public understanding and awareness.
