Johnny Diaz

Johnny Diaz is a Living/Arts writer for The Boston Globe, where he writes about pop culture, style trends, local TV news, and Hispanic-related arts stories. Before that he worked at The Miami Herald. As a reporter there, he shared in the 2000 Pulitzer award coverage of the federal seizure of Elian Gonzalez and the chaos that erupted in Miami afterwards. He also covered some of the biggest breaking stories in South Florida, such as the Gianni Versace murder. He was also a featured contributor in the first Chicken Soup for the Latino Soul and the author of Boston Boys Club, Miami Manhunt and the forthcoming Beantown Cubans.
