Dr. Robins opens the site with scrolling facts on the world's women, introduces the importance of each topic, and describes the value of the Web resources through annotated links. The main topics of investigation: Contradictions of Globalization; Status of the World's Women; and Women and Media, drive the design of the site. Each section includes lecture notes, Web links, online discussions, assignments, and a glossary of critical terminology. Most importantly, the professor's voice is present throughout the site.
