International Student Affairs
There are a variety of support programs and services available to international students who are studying at the College. There are three offices on campus designed specifically to serve international students with regard to student life and visa matters, academic advising and learning matters, and career services and job search concerns.
Office of International Student Affairs
This office located at 216 Tremont Street on the 2nd floor offers an array of services including:
- Consultation with students and scholars on immigration and visa matters
- Specialized programs and events to foster social and cultural adjustment
- Personal advising and counseling on social issues

Writing and Academic Resource Center
Located at 216 Tremont Street on the 5th floor, this office is staffed by the Coordinator of Academic Programs for International Students. The Coordinator, together with selected graduate students, provides a variety of academic services including:
- Assistance with writing skills in English
- Instruction in reading, time management and study skills
- Practice with oral communication skills
- Support in adjusting to classroom participation demands
- Course content tutorials

The Office of Career Services
The Assistant Director of Career Services is responsible for working with, among other groups, international students. Career Services offers specialized programs and materials for international students including:- Workshops on preparing for and conducting a job search
- A special “Job Search Strategies for International Students” session each semester
- Books and firms doing business over overseas
- International job search tips
- Relocation information
- Internship listings and how to secure an internship
