Tuition Benefits
Emerson College’s tuition benefit provides eligible employees the opportunity to take courses. While this benefit is designed to defray the tuition costs incurred by eligible employees and their dependents, it does not guarantee that eligible employees and dependents will be able to enroll in all desired courses, or that they will be accepted into an Emerson degree program. The employee is responsible for the cost of books, supplies and any applicable tax consequences.
Newly hired eligible employees must be hired prior to the first day of class in order to register for the current semester.
An employee who separates from service with the College prior to the last day of the semester in which courses can be dropped with a tuition refund, will not receive tuition benefits for themselves or their dependents, and will be responsible for the costs incurred if the course is not dropped.
