There are times when personal problems such as family issues, emotional distress, substance abuse, child/elder care issues can negatively impact your health and well being. To assist in coping with these problems, the College offers benefit eligible employees the following services free of charge.
The Wellness Corporation offers eligible employees a comprehensive employee assistance program as well as wellness worklife services:
Employee Assistance Program
This voluntary, confidential counseling service staffed by trained professionals is available to provide you with initial assessment, referrals and short-term counseling. Covered employees and eligible family members may have up to 3 consultations per year. This service is available 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, 365 days/year. For assistance call 1-800-828-6025.

Wellness Worklife Services
These informational, resource, and referral services provide information to assist you in balancing the stresses of work and family life. Topics include child & elder care, adoption, relocation, becoming a parent, etc. These services can be accessed by calling 1-800-828-6025 or via the Internet at www.wellnessworklife.com. First time users will need to register. The User name is Emerson College, then create your own Password to log on and use the resources available on the web site.
