Valentine’s Day Open House
Staff and faculty are invited to attend an Open House to be held on Thursday, Feb.14th from 1-3 p.m. in the Office of Human Resources, 4th floor, 120 Boylston St. Meet the new associate director, talk with the HR staff, pick up any forms you need, and get answers to your questions. Sweet refreshments will be available and raffle prize will be given away.
New Associate Director
Candace Carter-Smalley has joined the Office of Human Resources and Affirmative Action as Associate Director. She comes to Emerson with more than twenty years of experience, having held positions at Lesley University, Boston University, Berklee College of Music and most recently at Tufts University. At Emerson, she will take on the challenges of generalist and staffing activities.

Retirement News
The IRS has announced the 403(b) voluntary retirement plan employee contribution limits for 2008 are: elective (voluntary) deferral maximum, $15,500; additional "catch-up" contribution (for participants turning age 50 in 2008 or older), $5,000. Contact Human Resources if you wish to make a contribution change.
