Nurse Practitioner - Part-Time (30 hours/week)
Description:
Responsibilities:
Nurse Practitioner will be part of an Advanced Practice college health model
- Provide medical triage, diagnosis and treatment of acute episodic health problems including GYN care, to a diverse student population
- Participate in health and wellness education outreach program initiatives
- Posess strong interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrate excellent clinical decision making ability.
- Schedule to be determined by coverage needs of the department and may require occasional evenings and weekend coverage during the academic year.
- This position is for 9 months (during the academic year only) and is part-time/30 hours per week.
Requirements:
- ANP or FNP with minimum of 3 years of college, adult or family Nurse Practitioner experience.
- Must have MSN and hold current MA license for RN/NP
- Must be eligible for DEA/MDPH prescriptive authority
