ECnet AccountECnet

Once you are enrolled in Emerson College, you are given an ECnet account. This account allows you to log into various web resources that allow you to register for classes, pay your bills, read campus news, and more. The account identifies you when accessing library resources and allows you to sign onto computers in lab locations. Your ECnet account also includes an @emerson.edu e-mail account, networked storage space, and more! The account is unique to you, so do not share your ECnet username and password with anyone, not even an IT Help Desk technician.
  • eCampus - One of the best ways to keep up to date with what’s going on at Emerson College is to log on to eCampus to view upcoming events, workshops, and Emerson-related announcements. There are also quick links to useful areas of the Emerson website. Also, when you're curious if school is snowed out, here's the place to check!
  • Lost your ECnet username/password? - To obtain a new ECnet account, or to reset the password on your existing account, you must visit the IT Help Desk (120 Boylston Street, 4th Floor) in person. You must bring either your Emerson ID or a valid Government Issued Photo ID. For security purposes, account information is never transmitted over e-mail or the phone. Please be advised that we cannot retrieve your password, it must be reset. It will take one business day for new accounts to be activated.
  • Please note: If you have not yet been enrolled at Emerson, you will have not received an ECnet account. Till you are enrolled, you will be issued a PIN number. PIN numbers are mailed when you apply to Emerson. For information about recovering your PIN, please see the "Student ID/PIN Help" section on the eCampus log-in page.
  • Incoming freshman will receive their ECnet information in the mail about a month before classes begin in September. Students cannot activate their ECnet accounts before that time.  If the mailing is not received for any reason, the student must sign up for their account in person at the IT Help Desk.

ECmail Account

The Emerson community receives e-mail access along with their ECnet accounts. Usually, you can reach someone at firstname_lastname@emerson.edu. Emerson's directory is also available online. Official communications from the college primarily will be sent to your Emerson e-mail address.

Pages Folder

All Emerson students, staff, and faculty members have 250 MB of space on the Emerson Network (ECnet) allocated to them. This space, referred to as Pages, is a personal Web publishing and file storage space. Pages allows you to publish your files to the Web simply by copying them to your folder. Pages is backed up regularly, so its an extremely safe, reliable place to save your documents!
