Finance Office

The Finance Office is an integral part of the overall mission of Emerson College, a specialized institution devoted to the interdisciplinary study of communication and performing arts. The overriding responsibility of the Finance Office is to safeguard the assets of Emerson College and to provide an awareness as to how resources are being used to advance educational goals.

Sound administrative, business and fiscal management practices are necessary to achieve these overriding responsibilities. Integral to these responsibilities is the need to provide informative financial reporting to management and the institutional community. Effectiveness in these functions depends on clear statements on policy and procedures, to which this Users' Guide is dedicated.
