  • Emerson College Financial Assistance Application
  • Signed copies of parent's 2008 federal tax returns, including all schedules and W2's.

  • Any additional documentation requested by the Office of Student Financial Services.
Additional Documentation if Applicable

  • Students not filing federal taxes must complete a Student Non-Filer's Statement.
  • If your family derives/loses income from a business or farm please submit your most recent business federal tax return including all schedules for each business/corporation they have a share in.

Note for Readmitted Students

Before your financial assistance application can be reviewed the College must officially readmit you.  Please contact the Advising Center for further information.

Additional Information on IDOC

Documents submitted directly to Emerson College are returned to the family so they can re-submit them to the College Board's IDOC service with the IDOC coversheet, as instructed in our mailing.  To be considered on time, applications must be submitted to and processed by IDOC by the deadline.  Please allow plenty of time for mailing and processing.  Applications sent directly to Emerson are not considered on time.

IDOC information is only sent to current students with a completed current year (08-09) financial aid application and a completed FAFSA (09-10) on file. The information is sent to your HOME address in early March.  If you did not file for 08-09 but plan on applying for 09-10 please contact the Student Service Center for further instructions.

Faxes of documents are not accepted.  As IDOC is an imaging service, the College Board has determined that the resolution quality of fax copies is not acceptable for this process.  Faxed documents are mailed back to the family.
