2008 Prague Summer Film Program Application


The online application will be available beginning Thursday November 15, 2007.  The application deadline is Friday, February 28, 2008.
Enrollment is limited to 16 and applicants will be considered for acceptance as applications are received. Students’ film studies or production background will be considered as well as their academic standing.  Once accepted to the program applicants must submit a $300 nonrefundable, nontransferable deposit to secure enrollment.  Please note that admission may close before the published application deadline.


Undergraduate and graduate students must have the following credentials in order to apply for the program:

  • A completed online application.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 (Non-Emerson students must submit an official college transcript.)
  • Non-Emerson students must submit two letters of recommendation from faculty.
  • An interview (a phone interview for long-distance applicants will satisfy this requirement).


Students who wish to participate in any Emerson sponsored program or activity, including Emerson's external programs at Castle Well and in Los Angeles, must be physically and mentally able, with or without reasonable accommodations, to fully and safely participate in the program or activity. Students who suffer from a physical or mental disability, and wish to request accommodations that might enable them to fully and safely participate should contact Dr. Anthony Bashir at Emerson's Disability Services Office.

Please note: Applicants who've successfully submitted their application will immediately receive a copy via email.  If you do not receive a copy of your application via return email you should assume it was NOT submitted successfully, and you must submit the application again.
