The apartments are very comfortable and come with many amenities.  Unfortunately, due to the frequent turnover of apartments at the complex, Oakwood is not able to supply Emerson with the addresses of its student apartments until a few days prior to the check-in date.  If addresses are available any earlier we will e-mail this information to you.

The Oakwood Complex is located 1.3 miles from the LA Center and it takes about 20 minutes to walk and 5 to 7 minutes to drive. However, the Oakwood Apartments are in Los Angeles and the LA Center is just over the border in Burbank. This general area is known as the Media City Center district. You are within walking distance of Warner Bros. and near NBC, ABC, Universal, Disney, Nickelodeon, and a variety of production companies.

This area is located in the San Fernando Valley, it is not near the beaches. Santa Monica beaches are about a 30-40 minute drive west, depending on traffic. Coffee shops, restaurants, movie theaters, grocery stores and malls are close-by.
