Ellen was a Disney development executive for 13 years, working in series development, current programming, television specials, and both theatrical and direct-to-video films. She headed the creative affairs group of DisneyToon Studios as Senior Vice President until 2006, when she left the company to immerse herself full time in screenwriting and story consulting. She is known as a mentor for her keen ability to produce successful results in concept creation, pitches and scripts.
