Debra EpsteinPart Time Faculty (2000) B.A., University of Pennsylvania; M.F.A., Columbia University Debra Epstein has worked as a staff writer on the show, Catwalk (syndicated). She has also spent several years as an Executive Story Editor on The Marshall (ABC) and Promised Land (CBS). She has sold two pilots: Crosstown (CBS Productions) and The Debutante (Paramount/Fox). In addition to writing, Debra also worked as a reality television segment producer for E! Entertainment Television, Totally Hidden Video (FOX), Name Your Adventure (NBC), and lined produced the Judy Blume classic, Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great (ABC). Debra studied under Milos Forman, Frank Daniel, Marcia Nasitar and Ron Nyswaner. Her thesis project, Czechs and Balances, won several awards including a Student Academy Award, Student Emmy, 1st Prize at the Chicago Film Festival, The Berlin Film Festival, and many others. It was sold to the A&E network and to overseas networks. |
