KASTEEL Summer Program 2009 Application
- Application Deadline. The online application will be available beginning Monday, December 1, 2008. The application deadline is Friday, February 27, 2009. Enrollment is limited to 16. Applicants will be notified by e-mail and regular mail of their acceptance status. Admission is NOT first-come, first served, but will be made by the program directors and faculty based on the following criteria:
- Class standing
- Cumulative Grade Point Average
- Written Statement
Please note that admission may close before the published application deadline. - Qualifications. Applicants must be in good academic standing with a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher, and have no social sanctions against them. Non-Emerson applicants must submit official college transcripts. Official transcripts should be mailed directly to: International Study and External Programs, Emerson College, 120 Boylston Street, Boston, MA 02116-4624.
- Program Deposit. Upon approval to attend, a nonrefundable and nontransferable program deposit of $300 is required. Spaces are not held for applicants, even approved applicants, without a confirmation deposit.
- Room and Board. Housing and a meal plan are mandatory. A $50 security deposit is required.
Students who wish to participate in any Emerson sponsored program or activity, including Emerson's external programs at Kasteel Well and in Los Angeles, must be physically and mentally able, with or without reasonable accommodations, to fully and safely participate in the program or activity.
