NewFest '09, sponsored by Rod Parker, is an opportunity for student playwrights to collaborate on a full production of his or her play. The play chosen is directed by Joe Antoun, Artistic Director of Centastage.

Submission Information

Deadline: Wednesday, November 12 at 5:00
Award: Rod Parker Playwrighting Cash Award and a full production of your play
Additional Awards: Workshops and/or Readings
Eligibility: Emerson Students--ANY MAJOR grads/undergrads/full-time/part-time

Performance Dates: New Works festival, April 2-4, 2009

Submit 4 copies of your script (no electronic submissions) to the Emerson Stage Office, PPC 6th floor in the box marked "New Play Submissions 2009" Scripts will not be returned.

Script Requirements:

• Bound with a binder clip, no staples
• All scripts must include a title page with:

• your name
• major and year of graduation
• title of play
• your address
• e-mail address
• telephone number where you can be reached during the break and during second semester

• 4 copies of your script
