Welcome to the Wayside School! Wayside School was supposed to have 30 classrooms built side by side. Instead, they were stacked on top of each other. Architecture isn’t the only strange part of Wayside School, where students are turned into apples and pigtails talk. This fun, zany play is being produced by Emerson Stage.

PA521: A THEATRICAL ADVENTURE
This new theatrical piece is the culmination of Melia Bensussen’s class on theatrical adaptations. The play will loosely be based on Hawthorne's The Blithedale Romance, exploring the themes of utopia, romantic love, familial love and the love of an idealistic society that is the core of the transcendental frame of mind.

Come see the T-Birds and Pink Ladies sing and dance their way across the stage of the Majestic Theatre.
