Connor Strader ’14 calls his internship with Blumhouse Productions while enrolled at Emerson College Los Angeles this past semester “such a positive experience,” especially after working with director Jon M. Chu, who is behind the upcoming Jem and the Holograms movie.

“I worked directly with him shooting behind-the-scenes footage for the Jem movie, and also doing YouTube promos with him,” said Strader, a Visual and Media Arts major from Cicero, New York.

Strader says he’s now looking at film development jobs—something he hadn’t previously thought about—as a result of having a great internship.
