Emerson College Los Angeles student Frances Torres ’14, a Performing Arts major studying acting, has had a great experience interning at Conan this semester.

“Everyone’s grateful that you’re there,” said Torres, a native of Ponce, Puerto Rico. “I feel welcome and part of the team.”

Torres fulfills many responsibilities on Conan O’Brien’s show, and one of her favorites is acting as a stand-in and being present during rehearsals.

“As interns, we’re their target audience,” she said. “They always want us…to see what’s funny and what works.”

Torres plans to stay in Los Angeles after graduation.
