Jonathan Winters (b. November 11, 1925 in Dayton, Ohio).
After attending public school in Springfield, Jonathan joined the Marine Corps at the age of seventeen. After serving two-and-a-half years in the South Pacific, he returned to Ohio and attended Kenyon College. Winters is considered by many as one of the all-time greatest improvisational comedians. He has appeared in over 50 films, including It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963), had his own television show, The Jonathan Winters Show (1956), and was a co-star on Mork & Mindy (1978) as Robin Williams’ infant son. He received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, in 1999.
