SUMMER Courses AT EMERSON COLLEGE

NONCREDIT COURSES AND WORKSHOPS

The Department of Professional Studies and Special Programs offers non-credit courses and workshops to individuals who hold a minimum of a high school diploma or GED. You may enroll in most non-credit courses or workshops simply by completing our registration form and paying the required tuition in full. No application or interview is required to register or take a course.

SUMMER COURSES FOR CREDIT

During the summer, Emerson College offers additional learning opportunities to visiting students who would like to take courses and earn college credit. Enrollment in undergraduate-level courses (numbered 100-599) is open to individuals who have a high school diploma or GED. To ensure the best academic experience, we strongly recommend that students contact us regarding prerequisites. For students who hope to apply credits (from credit-bearing courses) they earn during the summer terms through the Department of Professional Studies toward a degree, bear in mind the Registrar's Office reserves the right not to accept courses for which the student has not taken appropriate prerequisites. For help in identifying courses that make excellent open-enrollment selections, please call our office for more information.

Students who register for courses offered through the Department of Professional Studies should review the policies for dropping, adding and receiving refunds.
