The Career Services Experience

Serving undergrads, grad students, and alumni, Career Services wants students and alumni to learn about themselves, what kind of opportunities exist for them, and how to get to the next step. What does the office offer? A chance to see how other students got jobs before them; an opportunity to network at two internship fairs each year; and site visits, including the New York Connection, a trip during which students go to work sites based on career paths and hosted by alumni.

Career Services Mission Statement:

Emerson College Career Services advances student and alumni ability to utilize their creative and intellectual talents as professionals and entrepreneurs.

Career Services is dedicated to the career education, planning, and development of all Emerson College students and alumni.  We take a student – alumni centered approach to:

  • Collaborate with campus partners to maximize resources for student and alumni success.
  • Provide industry knowledge and experiential learning opportunities which complement their academic programs.
  • Facilitate networking opportunities between alumni, students and employers.
  • Prepare students for the diverse work environments they will be entering.
  • Empower students and alumni to become confident and resilient in their own career management.
