Career Services provides these online resources to assist you with your career planning and recruiting needs.
Career Services is dedicated to educating Emerson College students and alumni about career development—helping them refine the skills needed to successfully navigate the many career paths they may travel throughout the course of their professional lives. We assist with identifying career goals and by offering applicable strategies for how to reach those goals. We connect Emersonians with employers in the specialized arts and communication fields that reflect the College’s curriculum. We strive to provide the Emerson population, both past and present, with the tools to develop their professional selves and to achieve success in their chosen fields.

Past major events from career services!
Career Services partners with other departments to provide major events that highlight careers in the Arts and Communications. Some of our past events include:
- Career Week (September 2008): One week of panels and workshops featuring industry professionals.
- NOW (March 2009): In collaboration with the Board of Overseers, keynote lectures and panels
- Countdown to Graduation (April 2009): Workshops by Career Services staff highlighting the skills needed by graduates in the job search process

WALK-IN HOURS
15 minute walk-in meetings with a Career Services advisor are available without an appointment on Monday through Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and will end for the Spring 2009 semester on Thursday, April 30.
