Alumni Networking
Building Your Professional Community
The key to professional success in this economy is to have the necessary skills for a job, and to have colleagues who can vouch for your competence.
Connecting with other Emerson alumni is one of the easiest ways to find others who have information that can help you in building your career knowledge and skills.
Many successful Emerson College alumni continue to cultivate connections with the college and other alumni through the Emerson Alumni Association and their Local Chapters around the country.
They sponsor programs that bring together alumni for professional development and networking, and is one of your best opportunities to meet people who have knowledge, resources, and connections that can help you in your career development. Contact the Office of Alumni Affairs for more information.
Another great resource is the Emerson College Alumni Association Group on LinkedIn. The number of Emerson alumni who are taking advantage of LinkedIn's potential to connect you with other professionals in the Communication and Arts fields has been growing greatly. Be a part of the network! The Emerson Career Advice Network
The Emerson Career Advice Network is a network of alumni mentors willing to support the professional and career development of current students and fellow alumni. Most commonly, alumni provide information about their profession and their career.
Career Services is also working with other Emerson departments to coordinate alumni panels, visits, and other mentoring opportunities. Being a member of the The Network will give you the first opportunities to share your expertise in a dynamic fashion with students.
