The Administrative Mailroom is located in the lower level of 100 Boylston Street. All incoming mail and packages are received and sorted at this location. The hours of operation are Monday - Friday 9a.m.-6p.m. The Administrative Mailroom is closed on Saturday and Sunday. The phone number is 617.824.8594.

Mail Services delivers all incoming mail to departments, including traceable mail and small boxes that are entered into the mailroom's package tracking system. Once a box exceeds 18" length by 12" height by 13" width, it is categorized as a 'package' and must be picked up by the recipient at Mail Services.

When a package is entered into the mailroom's package tracking system, an e-mail notification will be generated and sent to the recipient that the package has arrived and is available for pick-up. It is then the recipient's responsibility to go to Mail Services, sign for the package and retrieve it. Emails will only be sent for packages that require pick-up at Mail Services.

It is also important that all incoming packages include the recipient's name on the address so that Mail Services can ensure that the e-mail notification goes to the appropriate Staff or Faculty recipient.

Incoming mail and packages for Faculty and Staff should be addressed accordingly:

Change of Address / Mail Forwarding

At the conclusion of the academic year, on-campus students will be asked to fill out a Mail Forwarding card (during residence hall check-out) with information regarding where their mail should be sent during summer break. If a student does not fill out a card, any mail received will be returned-to-sender. Foreign students should provide a US address if they'd like their mail forwarded, since it can not be forwarded outside the country.

Students moving off-campus will be asked to fill out a similar Mail Forwarding card, and their mail will be forwarded for approximately three months to the address submitted.
