Meet the Coach
Head Coach Craig Letourneau
The fifth head coach in the history of Emerson College Volleyball, Craig Letourneau took the helm of the program in 2007. Craig is the first person to fill the position on a full-time basis, combining development of a men's program to his leadership of the women's team.
Prior to his arrival at Emerson, Craig was the head women's volleyball coach at his alma mater, Rhode Island College. A psychology major as an undergraduate, Craig also worked as an assistant women's basketball coach at RIC and was the college's full-time equipment manager for 15 months. While at RIC, Craig's volleyball teams won the Little East Conference regular season title in 2004, and were a finalist in the Conference tournament in 2006.
Craig was the Boys and Girls Volleyball coach at Mount St. Charles High School in Providence, R.I., from 1998-2002, starting the Mount St. Charles boys' program in 1998. During his time there he received "Coach of the Year" honors five different times, four times for the girls and once for the boys. He directed the boys to a state championship in 2001 and the girls to a runner-up finish in the state that same year. He has also been named the Rhode Island Division II Girls Basketball Coach of the Year three times while coaching at Lincoln (R.I.) High School.
