Coach Hanley joined the Emerson Baseball Program in January, 2005. After two Springs competing as a Club Team Hanley led the Lions into their first Season in three years at the Varsity level. The Emerson squad won 7 games, 5 in the Conference, to give them a berth in the GNAC Playoffs as the fifth seed.
Coach Taylor joined Coach Hanley on the Emerson Staff in the Fall of 2005 and has been a major contributor in the rebuilding of the Program. Coach Taylor works all aspects of the game with a focus on hitting and has become a fixture in the Coaches Box during games.
Coach Hanley is starting his second year with Emerson. He is a 2006 graduate of Clark University where he lettered in Baseball all four years for the Cougars. Mainly a shortstop, Hanley played all four infield positions and was a starting pitcher. Hitting over .300 twice, his College highlights include a 5-hit game against WPI and pitching a 5-hit complete game against Babson in the NEWMAC playoffs his Senior year in his final start.
