Welcome to the History Section of the Department of Athletics website. Here you can see the rich history of the development of athletics at Emerson College.
The story of the Athletics Department is rich and deep. The development of the program comes from a long history of sports related activities stretching back, officially, as far as the 1930's. The depth of the story comes from characters who have played roles in the development of the department. From the current first female athletic director back through the years to a time when an Olympic coach headed the program, this page will show the tradition evident today in the program.
