International education, has always been an integral part of Mardi's philosophy and career goals. She received a Bachelors degree in Communications at Beloit College and a Masters degree in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University. She has worked as a Study Abroad Advisor at CIEE, Student Activities Coordinator for the Harvard Foundation for Intercultural and Race Relations at Harvard University and was the Administrative Assistant for the Africa and the New World program at Tufts University. Mardi is currently the Assistant Director of Admission and Coordinator of International Recruitment for the Office of Undergraduate Admission department at Emerson. She loves the opportunity to meet families from around the world and assist them through the application process at Emerson.

Monika made her way to Emerson College via South Korea, California, Costa Rica, Mexico, Spain, Japan and South Africa. She credits her multi-cultural upbringing as the principal reason she has pursued a career in international education. Prior to joining the Admission team at Emerson, she worked at the University of Cape Town, South Africa developing short-term study abroad programs. She received a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Spanish from Tufts University and a Master’s degree in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University. She is excited about being part of the International Ambassador Program and recruiting talented international students to Emerson College.

Analú was born and raised in Tegucigalpa, the capital city of Honduras. As a young girl, she had many dream careers, among them modeling, culinary arts, museum curation, ecology advocacy, world traveling, and TV production. Today, she is a happy Emersonian enrolled in the undergraduate Marketing major. Analú is part of the founding members of the International Ambassador Program.
Melis Ciner

Melis was born in Ankara, Turkey, and completed her K-12 education in The Netherlands, Turkey and Belgium. She is now making good use of her international experience as Graduate International Student Ambassador at Emerson. Melis came to Emerson with an academic background in economics and political science, and also with a passion to study consumer psychology and brand identity. She is now enrolled in the IMC MA program at Emerson and absolutely loving her new field!
