Airport and Arrival InformationMost students will arrive at Boston’s Logan International Airport (airport code: BOS). Logan is a medium-sized airport and easy to navigate. The best way to get to your intended destination is to use a taxi. Taxi service is available outside the airport; just follow the signs for “Ground Transportation.” The majority of airport taxis are metered which means the amount you pay depends on the distance to your destination. All taxis leaving Logan Airport are charged a $2.25 airport fee. Travel through the harbor tunnels will cost an additional $5.25 toll fee. Typically, a taxi from Logan to downtown Boston will cost approximately $30. This amount includes the toll fees. Please keep in mind that it is customary to tip taxi drivers 15% of the total fare.
