The Admission Process

We in the admission office work hard at finding students who would not only thrive in but also actively participate in our creative atmosphere. Whether you have a lot of experience in your intended area or are a highly motivated beginner, we want to hear from you! Here are the steps to apply...

1. Submit the Common Application and Emerson College Supplement

We require that the Common Application, Emerson College Supplement and $65 application fee are submitted before we can review your application. You can submit these forms and the application fee by creating an account on the Common Application website. By following this link, Emerson College will automatically be listed in your "My Colleges" area of the Common Application after creating an account.

2. View and complete your specific application requirements

Be sure to view important application deadlines, supporting credentials, major-specific requirements and other materials needed to complete your application.

3. Check the status of your application credentials

After submitting your Common Application, Emerson College Supplement and application fee, we'll provide you with an Emerson ID within 7-10 days. Use this ID to log into the Admission Interactive Services website to check the status of your application, view when your supporting credentials (like teacher recommendations and SAT scores) were received, and submit questions to the Admission Office.
