Scheduling and Completing Your Artistic Review

Applicants to the Department of Performing Arts must complete an Artistic Review specific to their major. Artistic Reviews are scheduled (portfolio/interviews, auditions) or completed (essays) online in the StageDoor section of the Emerson College Application Portal. To access the Emerson Application Portal and StageDoor:

1. Apply to Emerson College by submitting the Common Application and the Emerson College Supplement.
2. Within 3-4 days of receiving your application, the Office of Undergraduate Admission will email your Emerson ID to the email account that you provided on your application. Although transcripts, recommendations, and test scores are a required part of the application due at the application deadline, they are not required to prompt the emailing of your Emerson ID.
3. Use your Emerson ID and date of birth (mm/dd/yy) to log in. Once inside the Application Portal, click on the StageDoor link. Please be advised that the scheduling of Artistic Reviews is a first-come, first-served process completed by you, the applicant, and space is limited, especially for Artisitic Reviews outside of Boston.

Please note: The Department of Performing Arts only accepts applications for the fall term and accepts transfer applications for all programs except BFA Acting and BFA Musical Theatre.

Our 2011–2012 Artistic Review Schedule is available online. If your major requires an audition or interview, you will be scheduling it online on StageDoor.
