Why did you choose Emerson College for graduate school?

I knew that I wanted to be in Boston, and after reading the first line of the Health Communication program description, I felt like Emerson would be the ideal fit.


What is your favorite aspect of the Health Communication program?

The small class sizes allow a comfortably open forum for discussion and a catalyst for making great friends.


What do you like best about living in Boston?

Everything is easily and immediately accessible in Boston—it is the greatest small city!


What is the best piece of advice you would give someone considering or entering graduate school?

Go for it—the caliber of student at the graduate level is exciting and enlightening.


Why should prospective graduate students visit Emerson?

Personally meeting the director of my graduate program and meeting a few current students completely validated my interest and excitement of the prospect of attending Emerson.


What is the most surprising thing you've discovered about yourself in graduate school?

As a grad student, I have discovered all of my personal and professional endeavors to this point have culminated to produce a perspective on my studies that others are interested in hearing.


How do you believe your Emerson College graduate degree will affect your future?

The connections with fellow classmates and professors that I am making here at Emerson will undoubtedly affect my opportunities in the near future as well as years down the line.
