Emerson College is approved as an educational institution for the training of veterans or their dependents and a participant in the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students who are eligible to receive VA benefits should submit a copy of their Certificate of Eligibility to the Registrar’s Office prior to the start of their first semester.
The Registrar’s Office will certify enrollment to the VA at the end of each semester’s Add/ Drop period automatically once the Certificate of Eligibility has been received.
A veteran's educational benefit is a contract between the student and the Veteran's Administration. The Emerson Registrar’s Office cannot explain veterans' entitlements or financial allotments—these can only be explained by contacting the appropriate Veteran's Administration Office.
