Life in LA
The Emerson College Los Angeles Center is a residential program that offers a full semester of academic coursework and internship opportunities during the fall and spring as well as a shortened summer session.
Qualified juniors, seniors, and graduate students may participate for one term in this unique curriculum that fully integrates theory and practice. Courses are taught by working professionals and scholars in the entertainment and communication fields, and internships span every aspect of the Hollywood industry.
Students live in furnished apartments located a short distance from major film and TV studios and may participate in a variety of special events and programs that are offered throughout the term. Emerson LA graduates are visible in all facets of the entertainment industry and have produced a network of illustrious alumni in film, television, theater, advertising, public relations, journalism, and more.
