Los Angeles Program
Qualified juniors, seniors, and graduate students may enroll for a semester of study at the Emerson College Los Angeles Center, a residential program with a full semester of internship opportunities and coursework during the fall and spring semesters, as well as a shortened summer session.
The internship course may be taken for 4 or 8 college credits and requires completion of both academic assignments and a specific number of hours at the intern site. With more than 1,000 internships in all aspects of the entertainment industry, including film, television, radio, performance, new media, music, management, journalism, publicity, and public relations, the LA Program offers a broad range of opportunities in a variety of fields. Since its inception, the LA Program has provided internship opportunities to more than 4,300 Emerson students.
