CUC’s International Exchange Center is a Western-style residential facility that houses students from all over the world. The Center offers students a comfortable place to stay during their time in Beijing.

Emerson students will be housed in double rooms. Each room is equipped with a bathroom (toilet & shower), television, telephone, and air-conditioning. The International Center is located across from the athletic field and tennis courts.  

Dining

Meals are not included in the cost of the program. However, the cost of living is China is relatively low.  CUC has two student canteens, which offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner for around 5–10 RMB. If students want to eat out, it is affordable.  A lunch meal with rice costs between 10 - 20 RMB. If you long for western food, you'll pay a bit more.  A "Big Mac" costs around 16 RMB.  There is a large supermarket on campus and a number of cafes, including some Western food options. There are three Chinese restaurants on campus, which offer different regional cuisines. Not far away are numerous "American" fast-food restaurants.
