MLeague International Summer Academy in China
The International League of Higher Education in Media and Communication (MLeague) Summer Academy Program hopes to promote international cooperation and cultivation of media and communication talents.
The focus of the program will be on offering a practical platform which will give international participants an opportunity to gain knowledge and understanding of Chinese media and communication development, theory and policy. The program will take place from June 4 - June 23, 2012.
This special course is offered in partnership with Communication University of China [CUC]. The 3-week MLeague Summer program focuses on helping Emerson students express their understanding of Chinese society by working on a project of their choice.
Some examples: (but not limited to) a short film, a news report, a new media production, a short story or a marketing campaign. No knowledge of Chinese is required to participate in this course, instruction will be in English. Each Emerson student will be paired with a CUC student who will assist them in navigating their way through class studies and life in Beijing.
