CUC’s International Exchange Center is a Western-style residential facility that houses international exchange students. Emerson students will be housed in double rooms. The International Center is located across from the athletic field and tennis courts.
Dining
Meals are not included in the cost of the program. However, the cost of living is Beijing is relatively low. CUC has two student canteens, which offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If students want to eat out, it is affordable.
After arrival, students will receive a CUC ID card, and can then go to the second floor above the supermarket to apply for a canteen (dining) card. There is a large supermarket on campus and a number of cafes, including some Western food options. There are three Chinese restaurants on campus, which offer different regional cuisines. Not far away are numerous "American" fast-food restaurants.
