China Exchange Program
We are excited to announce our newest exchange program with Communication University of China – Beijing. Qualified students may apply to spend one semester in Beijing, the capital city of the 21st century’s fastest growing economy, a regional powerhouse that exerts a significant influence on our shared commerce.
Communication University (CUC) is the premier university of radio, television, film, network and new media communication in China. CUC has trained most of China’s well-known journalists, newscasters, radio announcers, and leading personnel in international affairs and communications. The large school, with more than 15,000 full-time students, is devoted to the cultivation of high-level talent. Emerson students will live in CUC’s International Exchange Center, a Western-style residential facility housing students from all over the world. They will take courses in English and complete a class in Mandarin Chinese.
Beijing is the cultural and political center of China and is becoming an important center for international business. This is a wonderful opportunity for Emerson students to participate in a vibrant study abroad experience in an ancient land, moving rapidly through modernization.
