Tatyana is an independent filmmaker based in Boston, Massachusetts. She produces feature-length documentaries, fine art photography and short narratives that focus on compelling snapshots of life, on the everyday lives of ordinary and exceptional people, their transformation and inner struggle.
She has extensive experience teaching interactive media, digital photography and video production to a diverse mix of students from beginner to advanced level at various educational institutions.
Her first feature length documentary, From Russia, My Love (2003) which played at film festivals throughout the country, was awarded "Best Ethnic and Cultural documentary" at the Worldfest Festival in Houston, Texas.
Her recent documentary, Prima (2013) has been screened at the 42nd Dance on Camera Festival at the Film Society of Lincoln Center and at the Moondance International festival and other film festivals throughout the country.
Born in Ukraine, Tatyana's unique perspective and knowledge of the film arts merges American, European, and Russian cultures into an experience not to be missed.
