Twice an Emmy Award-winning television executive producer, Lu Ann Reeb is an entrepreneur, who has launched two media marketing companies. Reeb is founder and president of Boston Media Group, LLC, a consultative marketing company that provides a strategic approach integrating digital and traditional media to innovate communication for clients in various industry sectors. Reeb also founded Legal Talk Network, LLC, an online network creating an intersection of media and information for the legal profession, which was acquired by a California firm in 2012.
Prior to her experience developing unique marketing and PR strategies for the corporate world, Reeb's career as a television journalist spanned 20 years as a reporter, producer, news director, and WBZ-TV News executive producer in Boston. She produced documentaries and major market Television programs, covering the people and events making news, including U.S. Presidents, Nelson Mandela, the world's first artificial heart implant, a deadly Air Canada plane crash, John Glenn's second space flight, and the Boston Marathon.
Reeb has received Associated Press awards and community advocacy awards in four television markets. In 2008, she was named a lifetime member of the International Honor Society of Beta Gamma Sigma, and in 2010, she was honored with a postgraduate Academic Leadership Award from Suffolk University's Sawyer Business School. Reeb is a frequent speaker and moderator in marketing industry seminars, business conferences, and academia, on such topics as "The Media Shift," "Marketing Strategies that Work," and "Marketing is a 24/7 Job!"
From 2012-2014, Reeb served as Graduate Program Director for the Integrated Marketing Communication Program. Reeb teaches Entrepreneurship, Marketing Management, and Capstone courses in the Department of Marketing Communication.
