David Dahl is the Assistant Managing Editor for Operations at the Boston Globe, where he is part of a team that chooses and edits front page stories, and their display and placement on the page. Previously, he managed the Globe's regional sections and a network of 130 hyperlocal websites called Your Town, and worked as the Globe's political editor. Before coming to the Globe, he worked for the St. Petersburg Times for 20 years, including 10 years in the Times' Washington Bureau during the Clinton administration. He a graduate of the University of Florida, and was a Nieman Fellow in 2002-2003 and a Sulzberger Fellow at Columbia University in 2010-2011.
