Sixteen-time graphic novelist, winner of a 2005 Inky Award, and fine artist Andy Fish attended both The School of Visual Arts in New York City and Rhode Island School of Design in Providence.
Andy Fish is a sixteen-time graphic novelist, winner of a 2005 Inky Award and fine artist whose paintings have hung in galleries worldwide—including in the National Gallery in Washington, DC. Andy attended both The School of Visual Arts in New York City and Rhode Island School of Design in Providence.
In addition to his current position teaching Graphic novel art at Emerson, he is also teaching Illustration 4 to seniors at Massachusetts College of Art.
His latest graphic novel, Dracula's Army will be in stores Halloween 2013 from McFarland Press.
He had written and drawn a series of "How To" books" for Quarto Publishers in London, including How to Draw Graphic Novels, How to Draw Supernatural Creatures, How to Draw Superheroes and How to Draw Classic Tattoo Illustration.
He is currently hard at work on his follow up graphic novel entitled simply Fly—as well as a 64–page graphic novel for DC Comics. It explores the early ruthless version of the Batman character in a standalone one shot called Bat Man 1939.
