  • Ploughshares/Emerson WLP Reading Series: Julie Otsuka Q&A

    Ploughshares Literary Magazine and the Department of Writing, Literature and Publishing invite you to the Ploughshares/WLP Reading Series on Thursday, February 7th featuring Julie Otsuka.

    There will also be a reading with Otsuka at 8 p.m. at Emerson College, 216 Tremont St, in the Bill Bordy Theater.

    Otsuka is the author of the novels When the Emperor Was Divine and The Buddha in the Attic. She is a recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, the Asian American Literary Award, and the American Library Association Alex Award.
