Julia Story was born in 1974 in Media, Pennsylvania and grew up in West Lafayette, Indiana. She is the author of Post Moxie, which was the recipient of Sarabande Books' 2009 Kathryn A. Morton Prize and Ploughshares' 2010 John C. Zacharis First Book Award. Her recent work has appeared in The Paris Review, Octopus, and Denver Quarterly. She lives in Somerville, Massachusetts.
